Brothers, Ronald and Jerrold Grant, equipped with just a press, forklift and a few hand tools, formed Panel Tech Inc., in 1990. Their dream was to supply the woodworking market with architectural veneer and laminate panels. Determined to make a name in the market, these ambitious brothers would soon build a business that would produce high end, exceptional quality and perfected architectural millwork.
Over the years, Panel Tech Inc. has increased their experience in fabricating store fixtures, architectural millwork, custom furniture, modular office furniture and educational cabinetry. Continuously striving for the best, these brothers chose to reinvest in their business, making it one of the largest custom woodworking manufacturing facilities in Texas.
Panel Tech has grown into a team of over 35 highly skilled professionals and woodworking craftsmen. From estimating to drafting to project management, our key interest is to make sure your project is an award-winning showcase on opening day. All of our finished products are manufactured in Houston at our 30,000 square foot facility.

Qualifications: Ronald has 28 years experience in Construction and Business Management of Architectural Millwork Manufacturing . Ronald also has a very extensive background in Wood Veneering, Panel Processing, Modular Office Furniture, Custom Office Furniture, and Laminate Workstation Tops.
Vice President: Jerrold Grant
Qualifications: Jerrold has 24 years experience in Architectural Woodwork Manufacturing, Woodworking Machinery, Manufacturing Software, and Estimating. Jerrold also has a very extensive background in Wood Veneering, Panel Processing, Modular Office Furniture, Custom Office Furniture, and Laminate Workstation Tops.

Chuck Schwartzkopf
Qualifications: Chuck has 31 years experience in commercial construction with Commercial Doors, Hardware, Granite, Marble, and Architectural Millwork. Chuck is also OSHA 500 certified with 14 years of training.
Senior Project Manager:
James Cox
Qualifications: James has 25 years experience in Architectural Millwork and Project Management. James also has a very extensive background in Wood Veneering, Architectural Woodwork Manufacturing, Assembly, Production Management, Scheduling, and Installations.
Drafting and Project Management:
Rafael Castillo
Qualifications: Rafael has 25 years experience in Architectural Millwork and Drafting. Rafael also has a very extensive background Architectural Woodwork Manufacturing, Assembly, Installations, AutoCAD, and Pattern Systems.
Joseph Barela
Qualifications: Joseph has 25 years experience in Architectural Millwork and Drafting. Joseph also has a very extensive background in Store Fixtures, Assembly, Installations, AutoCAD, and Submittals
Jonathan Castillo
Qualifications: Jonathan is a graduate of ITT in drafting and design. Jonathan is a excellent draftsman and currently has two years experience with PTI in AutoCAD and Submittals.
